You can export your data from Google Chrome to create backups or move your information to another browser or device.
To export bookmarks, open Chrome and click the three-dot menu. Go to Bookmarks > Bookmark manager. Then click the three-dot menu inside the Bookmark Manager and select Export bookmarks. Chrome will save your bookmarks as an HTML file that you can import elsewhere.
To export saved passwords, go to Settings > Autofill and passwords > Passwords. Click the three-dot menu next to “Saved passwords” and choose Export passwords. You may need to verify your identity. Chrome will save the passwords as a CSV file.
For broader data such as activity, history, and account information, you can use your Google Account. Visit Google’s data export service (Google Takeout) in Chrome, select the data you want, and download it.
If you are signed in and using sync, much of your data is already stored in your Google Account. You can access it by signing in on another device without needing to export manually.

Exported data from Chrome, depending on your preferences, may include:

Keep in mind that exported files, especially password CSV files, are not encrypted. Store them securely and delete them when no longer needed.
