You can easily create, find, and manage bookmarks in Google Chrome to organize your favorite websites and access them quickly.
To create a bookmark, open the website you want to save in Chrome. Then click the star icon in the address bar. A small window will appear where you can name the bookmark and choose where to save it, such as the bookmarks bar or a specific folder. Click “Done” to save it.
To find your bookmarks, you can use the bookmarks bar, which appears below the address bar if enabled. If you do not see it, press Ctrl + Shift + B (Windows) or Command + Shift + B (Mac) to show it. You can also click the three-dot menu, go to Bookmarks, and view all saved bookmarks there.
For more advanced management, open the Bookmark Manager by pressing Ctrl + Shift + O (Windows) or Command + Option + B (Mac). This tool lets you view all bookmarks in one place, organized into folders.
To edit a bookmark, locate it in the bookmarks bar or Bookmark Manager. Right-click on the bookmark and select “Edit.” You can change the name, URL, or move it to a different folder. After making changes, save them to update the bookmark.
You can also organize bookmarks by creating folders. In the Bookmark Manager, click the three-dot menu and select “Add new folder.” This helps keep your bookmarks structured and easy to navigate.
Add a bookmark

- Go to the site that you want to visit again in the future.
- To the right of the address bar, select Bookmark

Important: To open a bookmark the easy way, select it in the bookmarks bar. To turn the bookmarks bar on or off, select More 
If you don’t have the bookmarks bar turned on or your bookmark isn't there, there are three ways to find your bookmarks.
- On your computer, open Chrome.
- In the address bar, enter
@bookmarks. - Press Tab or Space.
- You can also select Search bookmarks
in the suggestions.

- Enter keywords for the bookmark that you want.
- Select your bookmark from the list.
- On your computer, open Chrome.
- At the top right, select More
- Select a bookmark.

Tip: To switch bookmarks from visual to compact view, select Visual view 
Edit a bookmark
- On your computer, open Chrome.

Delete a bookmark
Important: After you delete a bookmark, you can't get it back.

Create a new bookmark folder

Sort your bookmarks
- On your computer, open Chrome.

- Choose your preferred sort organisation:
- Sort by newest
- Sort by oldest
- Sort by last opened
- Sort by A to Z

Move your bookmarks
- On your computer, open Chrome.
- At the top right, select More
- Drag a bookmark up or down or drag a bookmark into a folder on the left. You can also copy and paste your bookmarks in the order that you want.
If you use the bookmarks bar, you can drag your bookmarks into the order that you want.
- On your computer, open Chrome.
- At the top right, select More
- Select the bookmark that you want to move
- Select the folder where you want to move the bookmark to
