You can create, find, and edit bookmarks in Google Chrome on your iPhone or iPad to save and organize websites for quick access.

To create a bookmark, open the webpage you want in Chrome. Then tap the share icon (a square with an arrow) and select Bookmark. The page will be saved automatically, usually in the Mobile Bookmarks folder.

To find your bookmarks, tap the three-dot menu in Chrome and select Bookmarks. You will see all saved pages organized into folders such as Mobile Bookmarks and any synced folders from other devices.

To edit a bookmark, go to the Bookmarks section and find the bookmark you want to change. Tap Edit (or tap and hold the bookmark, depending on your version). You can update the name, change the URL, or move it to a different folder.

You can also create folders to organize your bookmarks. In the Bookmarks section, tap Edit, then select New Folder. This helps keep your saved sites structured and easy to navigate.

Add a bookmark

  1. On your iPhone or iPad, open Chrome Chrome.
  2. Go to a site that you frequently visit or want to visit again in the future.
  3. Tap More More and then Add to Bookmarks Bookmark this page.

Open a bookmark

  1. On your iPhone or iPad, open Chrome Chrome.
  2. Tap More More and then Bookmarks Bookmark this page.
  3. Review the folders.
  4. To open bookmarks, tap a folder.
    • To open in a new tab or Incognito tab, touch and hold the bookmark to choose from the menu.

If you can't find the bookmark that you want, it might be in a different folder. To change folders, at the top left, tap Back Back. Tap the folder with the bookmark that you want.

  1. Touch and hold a bookmark.
  2. Tap Edit.
  3. Change the name, folder or URL.
  4. At the top, tap Done.

Tip: To delete a bookmark, at the bottom, tap Delete.

After you delete a bookmark, you’ll get a prompt to undo if you deleted the bookmark by mistake. Otherwise, you can only get the bookmark back when you re-add the bookmark.

To delete one bookmark:

  1. Swipe left on the bookmark.
  2. Tap Delete.

To delete two or more bookmarks:

  1. At the bottom, tap Select.
  2. Tap the bookmarks that you want to delete and then Delete.

Important: To create a new folder, you must have at least one site bookmarked.

  1. Open Chrome Chrome.
  2. Tap More More and then Bookmarks Bookmark this page and then Select a folder.
  3. At the bottom-left corner, select New folder.

  1. Open the folder with the bookmark that you want to move.
  2. Tap Edit.
  3. Select the bookmark that you want to move.
  4. Tap More… and then Edit bookmark.
  5. To check your list of folders or to create a new folder, tap Folder.
  6. Tap Done.
