You can create shortcuts for websites in Google Chrome on your computer to access your favorite pages quickly from your desktop or apps list.

To create a shortcut, open Chrome and go to the website you want. Then click the three-dot menu in the top-right corner.

From the menu, select More tools, then click Create shortcut. A small window will appear where you can name the shortcut.

You will also see an option called Open as window. If you enable this, the website will open in its own window without the usual browser tabs and address bar, giving it a more app-like feel.

Click Create, and Chrome will add the shortcut to your desktop or applications menu, depending on your operating system.

You can then double-click the shortcut to open the website instantly. You may also pin it to your taskbar (Windows) or Dock (Mac) for even quicker access.

If you want to manage or remove shortcuts, you can delete them like any other desktop shortcut or remove them from your system’s app list.
