You can use Autofill in Google Chrome to fill in forms automatically with saved information like names, addresses, and payment details.
To set this up, open Chrome and click the three-dot menu in the top-right corner. Then go to Settings and select Autofill and passwords.
Here, you can manage different types of Autofill data. Click Addresses and more to add or edit your personal details such as name, phone number, and address. Turn on the option to save and fill addresses.
For payment information, click Payment methods. You can add your card details and enable Autofill for faster checkout. Chrome may also offer to save your details when you enter them on a website.
When filling out a form online, click on a field such as name or address. Chrome will show suggestions based on your saved information. Select the correct option, and Chrome will automatically fill the rest of the form.
You can also manage saved passwords under Passwords, allowing Chrome to fill login forms automatically.
If you are signed in to Chrome, your Autofill data can sync across devices, making it available wherever you use your account.
For security, Chrome may require you to confirm your identity before filling sensitive information like payment details.
Add, edit or delete payment and address info that you've saved in Chrome
- On your computer, open Chrome.
- At the top right, select Profile

- Add, edit or delete info:
- Add: Next to 'Payment methods' or 'Addresses', select Add.
- Edit: To the right of the payment method or address, select More
Edit.
- Delete: Next to the payment method or address, select More
Delete.
If you add, edit or delete an address and you’re signed in to Chrome with your Google Account, your changes show up on your other devices where you’re signed in to Chrome with the same account.
If your payment method is saved in Google Pay, you'll need to edit or delete it in Google Pay.
Manage autofill payment info
Autofill your home, work and email addresses from your Google Account
Important:
- Make sure that you’re signed in to Chrome with the Google Account where your home and work addresses are saved.
- Confirm that your Google Account is filled in with complete home and work addresses. You can find and manage this in your Google Account settings.
You can directly fill your home and work addresses from your Google Account into online forms. With an address saved in Google Maps, you can complete forms faster.
To use this feature, select an address field in an online form. Then autofill shows a suggestion from your Google Account.
Your Google Account provides the home and work addresses that Chrome autofill suggests. You can find and manage it in your Google Account settings.
- On your computer, open Chrome.
- At the top right, select More

- Select Addresses and more.
- You can:
- Save and fill addresses: Turn Save and fill addresses on or off.
- Remove an address: Next to the address that you want to remove, select More
Remove from Chrome
Remove.
To automatically fill in forms, Chrome uses your name and email from your Google Account.
To use this feature, make sure that:
- You’re signed in to Chrome.
- The 'Save and fill addresses' feature is on.
- On your computer, open Chrome.
- At the top right, select More

- Turn Save and fill addresses on or off.
To manage your name and email:
- Go to myaccount.google.com.
- On the left, select Personal info.
- Select either Name and pronunciation or Email
Save.
Tip: Any changes made to your information will be automatically updated across Chrome’s autofill settings.
If you have issues with Chrome not suggesting your saved info
- In Chrome settings, make sure that you turn on the 'Save and fill addresses' feature.
- To confirm the name and email shared from your Google Account for autofill, go to myaccount.google.com/personal-info.
- To confirm that you’ve saved the info that doesn’t auto-populate: select More

- The website might not be secure enough to get this info from Chrome.
- If the website is secure, Chrome might not detect certain fields in the form.
Delete your saved autofill form info in Chrome
To delete your addresses, payment methods or other info saved in Chrome at the same time:
- On your computer, open Chrome.
- At the top right, select More
.
- Select Delete browsing data.
- Choose a time range, like 'Last hour' or 'All time'.
- Under 'Advanced', choose Autofill form data.

Fill more fields faster with enhanced autofill
If you choose to turn on enhanced autofill, Chrome understands forms better and can autofill the fields faster for you. This autofill feature can offer to save info when you submit forms, like your:
- Driving licences
- Passports
- Vehicle info
- Flight reservation info
What you need
To use this feature, make sure that you:
- Use Chrome on your computer.
- Are signed in to your Google Account in Chrome.
Important: To use vehicle or flight info from Wallet, make sure that you have saved data on wallet.google.com.
At this time, enhanced autofill is compatible with limited websites and forms.
Important: This feature stays off unless you choose to turn it on.
- On your computer, open Chrome.
- At the top right, select More

- Select Enhanced autofill.
- Turn on Enhanced autofill

When you fill in a form online, you can choose to save your info, just like with the existing autofill feature. You can manage your saved information in Chrome settings. You can add, edit or delete your data.
- On your computer, open Chrome.
- At the top right, select More

- Add, edit or delete info:
- Add: On the right of 'Saved information', select Add.
- Edit: On the right of the item, select More

Tip: You can manage your vehicle info and flight reservations to the right of 'Saved information'.
When you visit a website with a form, the site's URL and content may be shared with Google. Google uses this info to provide you with better autofill suggestions and improve enhanced autofill.
Update your saved vehicle info
Important: Make sure that:
- You're signed in to the correct Google Account in Chrome.
- Your vehicle info is present in your autofill settings in Chrome or on wallet.google.com.
- 'Use passes across Google' is turned on in your Wallet settings.
When you submit forms with new or updated vehicle info, Chrome may prompt you to save this data to your Google Wallet.
- On your computer, open Chrome.
- Go to a page where you can enter your vehicle info.
- Enter your vehicle info in the form.
- If some vehicle info is already saved, some fields may autofill.
- After you fill in the form, click Submit.
- When prompted, click Save.
