Managing multiple profiles in Google Chrome on iPhone and iPad works differently from a computer. Chrome on iOS does not support fully separate browser profiles. Instead, it allows you to use multiple Google Accounts within one app.

To add another account, open Chrome and tap the three-dot menu. Then go to Settings and tap your current account at the top. Select Add Account and sign in with another Google Account.

Once added, you can switch between accounts by tapping your profile icon and selecting the account you want to use. Chrome will then sync data like bookmarks, passwords, and history for that selected account.

However, unlike desktop profiles, the browsing environment is shared. Tabs, local browsing data, and some settings may overlap between accounts. This means switching accounts does not fully isolate your activity.

If you need more privacy, you can use Incognito mode. Open Chrome, tap the three-dot menu, and select New Incognito Tab. In this mode, Chrome does not save browsing history or cookies, and activity is not linked to any signed-in account.

You can only have one Chrome profile on Android devices.

To let someone else use Chrome on your Android device, add them to the device. Then, using Chrome, switch to that user. Learn how to add a user to Android.

For stronger separation, you can use iOS features such as Screen Time restrictions or separate Apple IDs on the device, although these are broader device-level solutions.

In summary, Chrome on iPhone and iPad supports multiple Google Accounts but not true separate profiles. For full separation, you need to rely on device-level options or use Incognito mode for temporary privacy.
