You can customize both the homepage and start-up behavior in Google Chrome to control what opens when you launch the browser or click the home button.
To set your homepage, open Chrome and click the three-dot menu in the top-right corner. Then go to Settings and find the Appearance section. Turn on the Show Home button option. Once enabled, you can choose between using the New Tab page or entering a custom website URL. If you enter a URL, that page will open whenever you click the home icon in Chrome.
To set your start-up page, stay in Settings and scroll to the On startup section. Here, you have three options. You can choose Open the New Tab page, Continue where you left off, or Open a specific set of pages.
If you select Open a specific set of pages, click Add a new page and enter the website address you want. You can add multiple pages, and Chrome will open all of them automatically each time you start the browser.
If you want Chrome to restore your previous session, choose Continue where you left off. This will reopen all tabs that were active when you last closed the browser.
