You can save and read pages later, even without internet access, using Google Chrome on your Android device.
To read a page later, open the webpage you want to save in Chrome. Tap the three-dot menu, then tap the Download icon (down arrow). Chrome will save the page for offline viewing.
Once saved, you can access the page anytime by tapping the three-dot menu and selecting Downloads. All saved pages will appear there, and you can open them without an internet connection.
Chrome also supports offline viewing automatically. If you try to open a page without internet, Chrome may show a previously saved version if available.
Additionally, you can bookmark a page for later reading. However, bookmarks require an internet connection to load, unlike downloaded pages which are stored offline.
Save a page to your reading list
- On your Android device, open Chrome

- Go to a page that you want to read later.
- To the right of the address bar, tap More

Tip: If you save a page to your reading list, every new page is saved to the last folder where you saved. To edit where you save, at the bottom of the page, tap Edit.
Edit a saved page
When you save to the reading list, you can change where you save the page.
- Go to a page that you saved.
- To the right of the address bar, tap More

- To choose a different location, select Folder

Download a page from Chrome to read later
Important: You need to be online to save a page.
- On your Android device, open Chrome
.
- Go to a page that you want to save.
- To the right of the address bar, tap More
Download
.
Read, delete or share a saved page
- On your Android device, open Chrome
.
- At the top right, tap More
Downloads.
- If your address bar is at the bottom, swipe up on the address bar. Tap Downloads
.
- If your address bar is at the bottom, swipe up on the address bar. Tap Downloads
- From your downloads list, find the page that you saved.
- Read: Tap the page.
- Delete: Touch and hold the page. At the top right, tap Delete
.
- Share: Touch and hold the page. At the top right, tap Share
.
Tip: To find the live version of the page when you're back online, tap Reload .

If you are signed in to Chrome, your bookmarks sync across devices, but downloaded pages remain stored only on your phone.
