Josephine Kasiva was identified by the DCI as one of eight suspects arrested over an alleged SIM swap fraud in Marsabit Town. Investigators said the group posed as customers at an M-Pesa shop, deceived the operator, and illegally swapped the SIM card used in the transaction system. The fraud allegedly gave them unauthorized access to the victim’s mobile-linked bank account and siphoned more than Ksh1.2 million.
