Sportpesa-win.com was reported as an alleged fraudulent website impersonating the legitimate SportPesa betting platform. According to reports, visitors were falsely informed that they had won jackpots or other prizes and were instructed to complete additional steps before receiving their supposed winnings.
The alleged scheme required victims to pay a processing or clearance fee before the promised jackpot could be released. Multiple complainants reportedly sent money to the website, including one reported loss of KSh 8,000, before discovering that the winnings were not genuine.
The legitimate SportPesa platform operates through its official channels and does not require winners to pay upfront fees to claim legitimate prizes. The claims concerning sportpesa-win.com relate to an alleged impersonation site and should not be attributed to the genuine SportPesa business.
