The email address [email protected] was reported in connection with an alleged recruitment scam impersonating a legitimate car dealership. According to the report, recipients received professional-looking job offers claiming that the company was hiring sales representatives.
The messages allegedly required applicants to pay KSh 5,000 for a supposed background check before they could proceed to an interview. The communication was reportedly designed to appear genuine, making the recruitment request look like part of a normal hiring process.
The legitimate company later confirmed that it had not sent the recruitment emails, indicating that the messages were not authorised by the business. Job seekers are advised to verify vacancies directly with employers and to be cautious of recruitment offers that require upfront payments before interviews or employment.
