Mizizi Africa Homes Limited was named in complaints involving an alleged housing investment dispute affecting diaspora buyers. According to the report, a US-based Kenyan paid approximately KSh 4.25 million for a unit in the company’s Asali Estate project along Kangundo Road in Malaa after being presented with plans for the proposed development.
The complainant alleged that about two years after making the payment, the project site showed little meaningful progress, with only deteriorating foundations and no substantial supporting infrastructure. The company and its CEO, George Mburu, were also accused of using promotional YouTube videos and artistic impressions to market developments to overseas buyers who expected completed or progressing homes.
The claims concerning Mizizi Africa Homes Limited and George Mburu are based on complainant reports and should be treated as allegations unless independently verified or established through the appropriate legal process. Prospective off-plan buyers are advised to verify land ownership, approvals, construction progress, contractual safeguards, and a developer’s track record before making substantial payments.
