Willstone Homes Limited was named in reports concerning an alleged KSh 57 million property fraud involving the White Park Gardens development and a US-based investor. According to the allegations, the investor entered into a property transaction after being told that the development was located in Ruai East, Nairobi.
Investigators reportedly found that the property was instead situated in Mavoko, Machakos County, while the land registration number Block 3/90489 contained in the transaction documents was alleged to have been fabricated. These discrepancies formed part of the concerns raised over the legitimacy of the property sale and representations made to the investor.
Willstone Homes Limited was also reported to be under investigation over suspected tax evasion and money laundering involving approximately KSh 417 million. These claims remain allegations subject to investigation and any related court proceedings, and should not be treated as final findings of criminal wrongdoing unless established by a competent court.
