Public Likes, also known as Click and Earn, was reported as an online earning platform that promised users income for activities such as liking YouTube videos and engaging with social media content. According to reports, participants were required to pay registration fees ranging from about KSh 1,000 to KSh 5,000 and were promised regular or daily returns.

The platform was later reported to have collapsed, leaving many participants unable to recover the money they had deposited. Thousands of Kenyans were said to have been affected, while one reported case involved a loss of KSh 5,000. Separate reporting by Bana also listed Public Likes among schemes it described as pyramid-style operations linked to wider financial losses suffered by Kenyans.

The Capital Markets Authority was also reported to have issued a warning concerning the scheme. The claims about Public Likes are based on regulatory warnings, published reports, and community submissions and should be understood in that context rather than treated automatically as final legal findings of criminal wrongdoing.
